DAZ – New Means of Communication
December 2011 - Creative direction: onlab, Nicolas Bourquin

Design: onlab, Ryan van Kesteren
As first step towards renewing the image of the DAZ (German Center for Architecture, Berlin), we were asked to design a template for communicating the institute's events and exhibitions. Fitting two languages on a small postcard can be a tricky thing to do, especially when titles are long and information is detailed. So, to ensure a characteristic and powerful communication without images, we decided to separate the languages in the most playful way: mirroring the two languages.
DAZ is dedicated to the promotion of architecture and building culture, and utilizes the media of exhibitions, events and publications. The DAZ is an initiative of the Association of German Architects, BDA.
