The "Gazette" (Tramelan change de couleurs) was published to communicate the new visual identity of the city of Tramelan to its inhabitants. The newspaper was distributed for free and exclusively to each household in 3 stages (every second week starting from the press conference in the beginning of September 2007).
The layout and print principle is based on the 3 main ideas of the new communication strategy of the city of Tramelan and the 3 successive publications of the newspaper. The content of the first issue is related to the "way of life" (magenta) , the second based on the "knowledge" (green) and the third presents the "know-how" (black and silver).
To avoid an inappropriate didactical discourse, the interviews and articles, as well as the images are splited into 3 pieces and spreaded out within the 3 shifted publications. A subjective index as well as the colours helps the reader to find his way through the textes and pages.
