In the March issue, the mechanisms, strengths, shortcomings and possible scenarios for the future of print media are discussed on the eve of Web 3.0.
The tools, services and challenges of internet are omnipresent and part of every day life - both at work and in private. We know from personal experience that the web is a powerful medium. However, it is not the only one.
In contrast to the prevailing discourse on the impact of the web, we decided to produce an 'Intersections' issue that offers the possibility for the reader to engage in a tactile interaction which is only restricted to the the printed object. By means of folding and unfolding, the experience of paper not only reveals the playful dimension of printed objects but also shows the potential of referencing in printed matters.
For this issue, we worked in collaboration with the German illustrator Tobias Krafczyk. Fold this issue of 'Intersections' to learn more.
